Transitus Holiday Destinations
Pupils in Mr McDougall's Transitus ICT class have been writing about where they went for their October Break-they have sent their comments to say more about where they went.
I went to Alicante,Spain. The resort is called Javea. It was great and warm and we had a great location for everything you need. It was fantastic and I wold ike to go again!

I went to Paris, which was magnificent. I've been several times before but never stop being amazed by how beautiful it is. As with any city it is great to look at it from a high point. Looking down from Sacre Coeur It is amazing what a white city it is. I presume that is due to availability of local stone. Dr Spencer claims that chalk runs all the way from The White Cliffs of Dover to Paris and people tried to build a tunnel under the continent many many moons ago. Can this be true Mr MacDougall?
Thank you Transitus, for your holiday comments-I would like you to add some more details about your experiences next time; some of your posts are very brief and do not tell us anything about where you went! What you should do now is look these places up on a map, eg Google Earth or Multimap.
Dr Spencer is quite right; there have been several attempts to build a tunnel through the layers of chalk under the Channel.
